so far my 2008 Taurus X is in this shop, codes P0720/P0722 intemittent issues with OSS/TSS, I orginally took my car to Honest1 in Roswell on Friday and by Monday at 3:30pm they moved it over to be a transmission problem. I spoke with Robert who told me they needed to diagnose it and he didnt want to just swap out parts for fixing it. Robert sounds very honest and will let you know what they found once it is diagnosed but hoping to have a great experience like everyone else. I will definetly spread the word on social media and of course here on my continuing experience.

I highly recommend Mr. Transmission Sandy Springs. Here's why: I was told by NTB during an oil change that my 2010 minivan's CV joints needed replaced, and they quoted me what seemed like a very high number. Within a couple of days, with my wife driving, the van herked and jerked with me out of town. I had her take it to the Toyota dealer, and they told her we needed new CV joints AND a new transmission - - I was now leery of both NTB and the dealer. I mentioned my situation to a few friends, who referred to Mr. Transmission Sandy Springs (one used them, the other lives nearby and said they've been there for years and are always busy). What a great customer experience during every step of the process. I called from Texas about 20 minutes before they opened (which I didn't know at the time), and a gentleman named Frank answered. He diagnosed as much as he could over the phone, then said someone would call me when they opened in 20 minutes - - which actually happened. Lowell (who I later found out owns this Mr. Transmission along with his wife Cyndi) came across very genuine, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I dropped off the van, and after he looked at it, said I didn't need new CV joints, but the transmission was done. He quoted me a range to repair it, which was half of what the Toyota dealer quoted, and I left it with him for a couple of days. Lloyd kept in touch with me while he did the repairs with what he was finding, and fixed my van on time and within the range quoted. They warranty the work for 1 year as long as we brought it back within 10 days or 800 miles just to make sure "everything was right" - - wow !!

Mr. Transmission was recommended to me by our family mechanic. I completely understood why they were recommended to me when I arrived as they are some of the nicest to people to work with and are genuinely kind and fair. They took care of the car from beginning to end and gave me a one year warranty. About a year and a half later my check engine light reappeared and I got it inspected by the dealership while I was having them change my oil. The dealership called Mr. Transmission to check my car and see if it was under warranty and eventhough it wasn’t I got a personal phone call from Lowell letting me know to stop by so that they can check it out and work something out. They also gave me a helping hand when they gave me a ride to work, Frank is a hoot, and Cindy is just a joy to be around. Overall they have awesome customer service and are very fair and stand by their work. Thank You Mr. Transmission!!

Amazing Customer Service!!! The level of customer service at the Sandy Springs Mr. Transmission exceeded any expectation and experience I'd ever had at another vehicle service business. I went to this particular shop due to a Google search when I saw my check engine light come on. It was after one o'clock on a Saturday and the office doors were locked. I peeked in the bay area and asked for help. The three men that were finishing up their work stopped what they were doing to assist me. Once they'd determined that I did have an issue with my transmission, I decided to leave my car there (I live an hour away) and we filled out the necessary paperwork. I was told I would probably be able to get my car back on Thursday. Robert was nice enough to assist me with finding a rental car company that was still open at that time and he drove me there. This rental place was about 10 minutes out of his way (and remember he was already off when my car limped into their parking lot). Robert was also sweet enough to wait with me while I got my car squared away, all the while keeping me entertained! Robert really helped me to not freak out about the whole situation. On Monday I received a call from Lowell explaining to me what me transmission issues were, in plain English!! I was given a price quote and again I was told my car would be ready by Thursday. True to their word I was able to pick up my car on Thursday and I paid the quoted price. And on top of that I was asked to come back in 300 miles to have them check out my car to make sure it is running properly. When I went back for the check up they pull my car in immediately (and all bays had car in them) and had me out of there in no time. This service was top notch from the beginning to the end. They kept to their time and price quotes, which is very important. And EVERYONE was so much fun to speak to and they treated me like I was their only customer, which wasn't the case. Cindy was such a pleasure to chat with. This is a great establishment and I recommend everyone visit them for their transmission needs.

My family has been taking our cars here for as long as I can remember (since I was a kid), and that's always how they have treated us - like family. Every time I go into Lowell's shop I expect nothing less than honest, reliable, *professional* service, because that's what they deliver. Most recently I had an Acura TL whose transmission seemed to be acting up. I took it to the dealer for a fluid change. They refused to change the fluid and instead quoted me $4,000 dollars for a replacement transmission. Of course I took it to Mr. Transmission directly from there, and Lowell pointed out where the problem was. A couple of transmission mounts were broken, something the dealer failed to even inspect. A few hundred dollars later and shifting is back to normal. No problems. Lowell & co. would rather save their clients money than take them for a ride, because they understand that if you provide genuine service, then you will keep a client for life. For this reason they stay busy, so I suggest you call ahead and they will be sure to find time for you. Whether it is a simple fix or a costly repair, I trust them to get it right every time.

Mr. Lowell took the time to diagnose my transmission for free. He correctly diagnosed my car. Other mechanics would not take the time to give a free diagnosis. Discovered that my car was under warranty so had repairs completed at dealership.

Well, the transmission on my car needed to be rebuilt and this is where I ended up taking it. They did a good job and the owner seems to genuinely care about providing a good service. I'd probably recommend them if you need any transmission work done. As I'm sure you know, it's really hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust. You will get a quote here and a promise that it won't go over. My total came in @ about $100 less than the quote. Transmission rebuilding is expensive so the fact that you will receive a solid quote from this place is very important as far as I'm concerned.
