I highly recommend Mr. Transmission Sandy Springs. Here's why: I was told by NTB during an oil change that my 2010 minivan's CV joints needed replaced, and they quoted me what seemed like a very high number. Within a couple of days, with my wife driving, the van herked and jerked with me out of town. I had her take it to the Toyota dealer, and they told her we needed new CV joints AND a new transmission - - I was now leery of both NTB and the dealer. I mentioned my situation to a few friends, who referred to Mr. Transmission Sandy Springs (one used them, the other lives nearby and said they've been there for years and are always busy). What a great customer experience during every step of the process. I called from Texas about 20 minutes before they opened (which I didn't know at the time), and a gentleman named Frank answered. He diagnosed as much as he could over the phone, then said someone would call me when they opened in 20 minutes - - which actually happened. Lowell (who I later found out owns this Mr. Transmission along with his wife Cyndi) came across very genuine, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I dropped off the van, and after he looked at it, said I didn't need new CV joints, but the transmission was done. He quoted me a range to repair it, which was half of what the Toyota dealer quoted, and I left it with him for a couple of days. Lloyd kept in touch with me while he did the repairs with what he was finding, and fixed my van on time and within the range quoted. They warranty the work for 1 year as long as we brought it back within 10 days or 800 miles just to make sure "everything was right" - - wow !!
