Mr. Transmission is trustworthy shop that you can depend on. I would highly recommend Mr. Transmission to anyone in the area that wants to establish a relationship with a friendly and honest company. It is tough to find a shop that operates with such a high amount of integrity like Mr. Transmission in Sandy Springs, GA. By the way, the reviewer that wrote the negative review does not even have an icon next to their name. Probably another shop in the area. One of the other shops tried to fix my car and told me the parts were $400 a piece. They also told me I needed two mounts and the job would be $1,400 with labor. Mr.Trans called me and told me I did not need the second mount. I paid less than 65% of the other quote So be careful out there and do your home work. Give these guys a shot first and then if you want another quote pick another shop in the area without letting them know you saw the good guys first. see what their quote looks like and I am sure you will be back at Mr. Trans

My experience went like this: My local mechanic diagnosed the problem as a bad output speed sensor. He replaced it. Cleared the error messages out of the computer, but transmission still wouldn't shift properly. I took truck to Mr. Transmission based on his recommendation as he knows Bob and Sandy. They diagnosed the problem as the same thing. Diagnostic fee: $95.00. My work called for 1/2 hour in replacing an output speed sensor. Labor: $76.00. Cost of part: $40.99. I called local dealer to compare: Service tech quoted ball park $185 out the door over the phone. My take: Mr Transmission in Roswell is an honest company to allow to touch your vehicle. Is the dealer? I can't say for certain as the service writer in a dealership is nothing more than a salesman. I would have thought I would save money by not going to the dealer. That is not the case. Cost difference is only about $30 for this specific job, but it is a premium for them being trustworthy.

They are Awesome and Totally affordable !!! I read all the great reviews and they are true. I did not work with Robert, instead, I worked with Alan. I had a TPS (throttle position sensor) replaced for a very old Oldsmobile. He had it fixed in less time than what he stated --- furthermore, car goes into 4th gear and runs like a "dream" for the first time in a long while...Great work !!! He was very nice, knowledgeable, responsive and explained everything in language that I understood. He gave me a quote and it came out under that. There was a sensor that was also faulty but they were honest in explaining that it really didn't need to be fixed --- I LOVE it when a mechanic is honest. When a wheel bearing went faulty, I didn't know who to call and I called Allen at Mr. Transmission ... he waited after they closed at 6 PM -- until I arrived and diagnosed the problem and helped temporary fix it until I was able to address the problem the next day with the Tire/Wheel place that was responsible for the problem. Alan and Mr. Transmission will DEFINITELY getting my REPEAT BUSINESS !!! Mechanics of Atlanta, take notes from these guys on how you run an honest shop.

I don't know the experiences of the other two reviewers, but my wife and I have had nothing but a positive experience with Lowell and his staff at Mr. Transmission. We were originally referred to Lowell by Rodney at Georgia Tire Depot when we had a problem with our four-wheel drive. They could have told us we needed an expensive transmission or transfer case replacement, but instead traced it to an inexpensive switch which they replaced for just a couple hundred dollars and we haven't had any problems since. Additionally, we've gotten a free diagnosis from him on two other occasions, after which he again recommended trying inexpensive or free corrective action before moving on to more costly measures. I would highly recommend them not only for transmission items, but also to refer you other specialists.

Thank you VERY MUCH to Mr. Lowell Hester for the kind friendly service that I received while having my vehicle serviced at this Mr. Transmission location. The price was very reasonable and it was done in a timely fashion! I highly recommend this company! Thanks, Jorge
